The AK-DR11 series are accessory packages highly convenient for recording needs, utilizing the DR series’ handy recorder.
The AK-DR11GMKII and the AK-DR11G are suited for standalone recording using a DR series device, packing a handgrip that facilitates handheld recording and an AC adapter useful for long recordings, while the AK-DR11C is optimal for using in conjunction with a DSLR, and includes a shoe-mount adapter that enables mounting of the recorder onto the camera accessory shoe, an attenuator cable that adjusts the audio signal to an appropriate level when connecting the recorder with the camera, and a splitter cable for headphone monitoring while having the recorder connected to the camera.

When filming outdoors, even a slight breeze can enter the mic and cause wind noise. Applying the furry windscreen atop your device will prevent this interrupting noise.
This grip can be attached to any "DR-series" recorder via the tripod holes. When recording by hand, using the grip makes it easy to hold and reduce handling noise. It is also designed to be compatible with most microphone holders.
The power adapter is convenient for continuous recording. DC plug cable is fixed to the AC adapter. An AC cord, a DC to mini-USB conversion cable, and a DC to micro-USB conversion cable are included.

Handheld DR-series DSLR Filmmaking Accessory Package
The DR-series recorders have a higher signal than most cameras' are designed to take. The sound quality declines when it is directly connected to the input of a DSLR camera, utilizing an attenuator cable will properly adjust the signal of the recorder's headphone output.
*Some handheld recorders including the DR-100mkII have separate headphone and line-level outputs. If you connect to these recorders, please make sure to use the attenuator cable with the headphones output.
Many handheld recorders use the headphone output connector when in use with a camera. In this case, your headphones are obsolete. By using the splitter cable, you will be able to use both headphones and connect to the camera.
