Network Audio/CD Player
The CD-240 is a network audio/CD payer that can playback CDs and online streams.
It playbacks using DLNA network and play files from computers on the same LAN or NAS, as well from sources such online streams.
In addition, high-quality audio playback using USB flash memory and a digital connection via iPod is available.
This model has been discontinued in North, Central and South America. Please check the availability with your local distributors in other areas.
Operate CD-240 using your smartphone application
A free remote controller app, TEAC AVR Remote enables audio file selection over a network and volume control via iOS devices and Android devices.
Control of your favorite Internet radio from afar is at your disposal through the touch of your smartphone.
Not just for audio CDs: compatible with various audio formats
The CD player in the CD-240 is equipped with all the specs and functions required for its installed sound applications.
The TEAC-produced CD drive, specialized for audio, also comes with a shock proof function, and is able to playback data CDs in addition to audio CDs, showcasing a high level of versatility and reliability.
The CD-240 is a professional CD player equipped with a network playback function that will meet a wide range of operations and needs as part of the new line-up in the CD-200 series with its long history of successful installations.

The CD-240 supports DLNA for simple setup to media servers on a local network. * DLNA 1.5 remote playback is supported.
* A NAS device must support DSD files in order to play them back. For details, refer to the operation manual of that NAS device.
