NEW LOWER PRICES FOR TASCAM GIGASTUDIO

03-28-2007
New York, NY (October 10, 2003): GigaStudio, the world's most popular software sampling workstation, is now within the reach of even more composers, arrangers and musicians. The price of GigaStudio 96, previously $399, has been lowered to $279, and the flagship 160-voice GigaStudio 160 has been lowered from $699 to $499.

"Our preeminent software sampling program is now more affordable than ever," says Pete Snell, TASCAM GigaStudio Sales and Marketing Manager. "We want to get it out to more people so they can realize the power of this phenomenal creative tool. With the falling prices of computer hardware, a fully-loaded GigaStudio system is now around the same price as a hardware sampler or synthesizer - while adding far more power, flexibility and library choices."

GigaStudio, a powerful sampling application for Windows, uses our patented Endless Wave™ technology, allowing samples to be streamed off of the hard drive with the lowest latency of any sampler on the market today. Up to 4.3 gigabyte samples can be loaded, for the ultimate in realistic instrument reproduction. GigaStudio 160 delivers 64 MIDI channels distributed over four ports for lush arrangements, playing back 160 voices of polyphony in real time. The finest sample libraries in the world are all available for GigaStudio, many exclusively so, and are instantly searchable using the QuickSound database. Each part can be internally mixed with high-quality 32-bit effects or individually output for external mixing.
