03-28-2007
Popular CD Recording Standards Return for Installation Market

Orlando, FL • NSCA Expo • Booth #721 (March 10-12, 2005): Back by popular demand, the TASCAM CD-RW2000 and CD-RW402 have been re-released for installation in systems that require CD recording. The CD-RW2000 is a professional CD recorder with balanced XLR inputs and outputs, AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital connections, word clock I/O and a built-in sample rate converter. The CD-RW402 is both a CD recorder and a CD duplicator, with a built-in player for 4x CD duplication and parallel control port.

"When slower-speed drives became unavailable in 2004, this affected our ability to produce some of our best-selling products," says Jim Mack, Division Manager of TASCAM. "Now that these products have been re-designed to accept new drive models, we're pleased to re-launch some of the most popular CD recorders ever made."

The CD-RW2000 is a professional CD recorder with the reliability and balanced connections that made it the go-to recorder for installations and touring sound. It uses 24-bit digital converters and onboard sample rate conversion for studio sound quality, and supports professional and consumer CD-R and CD-RW discs. The CD-RW402 is perfect for conference rooms, houses of worship, or anywhere else that high-quality CD recording and duplication is required. It features location points that can be used to editing, making it perfect for trimming out dead space from recordings.
