Control and Monitor the Solid-State 64-track from Anywhere

NAB Show Booth SL4705 (April 18, 2016): TASCAM DA-6400 Control is a free app for Apple’s iPad enabling remote monitoring and activation of our latest 64-track solid-state recorder, the DA-6400. The iOS app displays level meters for all 64 tracks, automatically marking tracks that overload. Recording and other transport functions can be initiated from the program, and markers can be set and selected. A panel lock function locks out the app to prevent accidental operation.

In addition to track monitoring and transport, TASCAM DA-6400 Control can display the clock status, timecode position, remaining recording time, and other error warnings. The take name is displayed beneath a progress bar showing elapsed and remaining time. Takes can be selected from a list for playback. A separate screen allows each track to be enabled or disabled for recording or input monitoring.
